The Workshop on Quantum Algorithms, Computational Models, and Foundations of Quantum Mechanics, will be held from July 23 to July 25, 2010 at the University of British Columbia. This three-day workshop will focus on the mathematical aspects of quantum information: algorithms, computational models and foundations of quantum mechanics. It will serve as a focal point for experts in quantum information science to present their cutting edge research. The interdisciplinary nature and the industrial relevance of the topic will provide novel opportunities for researchers from different disciplines to exchange ideas and develop collaborations with a lasting impact, which may result in industrial applications.
This workshop is a satellite event to the 10th Canadian Summer School on Quantum Information. Summer school students can attend the workshop free of charge.
