Application Process

• This financial support is available only to non-local undergraduate or graduate students interested in attending the summer school but cannot otherwise do so without additional financial support.
• All applicants should register for the summer school prior to submitting a application. While no registration fee is required immediately, awarded applicants will be asked to pay for their summer school registration fee within two weeks of award notification.
• The applicaiton process is a two-step process.
  1. Step 1 - Submit your online application form: You will receive a confirmation email following your submission. Please review your confirmation email to ensure all information submitted is correct.
  2. Step 2 - Submit reference and CV: Applicants will submit one reference letter (a signed letter scanned as electronic copies) plus the applicant's curriculum vitae through email info [at] qi10 [dot] ca by the May 1st application deadline.

Support Available

• Each awarded applicant will receive:
  • Accommodation Support: We will provide accommodation for the duration of the summer school and workshop (15 days 14 nights, July 16 - July 30).
    OR,
  • Travel Support: We will provide up to $420 of reimbursement for travel expenses (flight, meals, accommodation) incurred during the summer school. Receipts will be required in order to receive reimbursement; all expenses should be relevant and reasonable.
• The financial support is conditional upon the applicant's registration for the summer school. Please note that the applicant will need to register and pay for the summer school separately. Award acceptance must be confirmed by May 22nd, 2010.
• Due to limited funding, not all applicants will receive financial support.
